Permanent Part‐Time – 53 hours per 4‐week roster.
About The Role
Provide a high standard of library service and support community connections with a focus on reading, learning and community engagement.
- Deliver excellent library services and programs, including circulation, collection maintenance and self‐service operations.
- Provide timely assistance and basic reference help to encourage library membership and use.
- Support promotions, displays and events and maintain a high level of customer focus.
- Participate in branch planning, meetings and training, and advocate for branch and regional development.
- Occasionally deliver storytime sessions.
About You
- A customer‐focused professional with a strong understanding of library services, collections and resources.
- Passionate about reading and skilled in Readers' Advisory to connect people with books and information.
- Detail‐oriented in shelving and collection maintenance and comfortable using technology such as Microsoft Office, internet tools, email and social media.
- Capable of providing inclusive basic reference assistance and communicating effectively with customers and colleagues.
Roster Details
53 hours per 4‐week roster. Hours are part of a set roster; shifts are not changeable.
