Green Space Specialist Job Overview
The role of a Green Space Specialist is to maintain and enhance gardens and outdoor spaces in Joondalup and surrounding areas.
* Maintain and enhance gardens and outdoor spaces in designated areas.
* Operate various equipment such as push mower, whipper snipper, hedger, pole pruner, small plant machinery and basic hand tools.
* Carry out planting, weeding, pruning, and watering tasks.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Preparing soil for planting by clearing debris and weeds.
* Planting flowers, trees, and other vegetation in designated areas.
* Watering plants and maintaining soil moisture levels.
Required Skills and Qualifications
* Basic knowledge of gardening techniques and principles.
* Ability to operate various gardening equipment safely.
* Physical fitness to work outdoors in variable weather conditions.
