Package: Base pay + $11.5k on call (pro‑bata basis) + 12% superannuation

The Star Care Group, one of Western Australia's leading providers of Community Support and in‑home disability support, is actively seeking an experienced Scheduler/Rostering Admin to join our diverse team as a result of business growth. This position plays a vital role in assisting the Star Care Group in delivering essential services to our participants while ensuring efficient service provision. As a member of our team, the Rostering Admin/Scheduler establishes strong relationships with both the Star Care Group's staff and clients, facilitating effective communication through phone and face‑to‑face interactions to address roster‑related matters. We are looking for a candidate who is bright and full of energy, solution‑oriented, data‑driven, possesses a keen eye for detail, and excels in communication.


Responsibilities

* Creating, updating, and publishing the roster on a fortnightly basis.
* Maintaining accurate shift notes.
* Overseeing the organisational rostering process by managing roster templates, rolling over employee rosters, and handling daily shift swaps and changes.
* Ensuring timely fulfilment of shifts.
* Approving timesheets for payroll processing.
* Providing guidance to our Senior Leaders regarding Industrial Relations obligations and recommending efficient and cost‑effective rostering models for the organisation.
* Maintaining precise and timely documentation.
* Communicating effectively with all stakeholders including Support Workers, Clients, Service Coordinators, and Management.
* Responsively and effectively managing employee queries concerning their rosters.
* Fulfilling any other duties as assigned by your supervisor.
* Notify management immediately of any reportable incidents and take appropriate action in incident reporting.
* Create calendars for clients to roster their activities and share them with support workers after approval by Service Coordinator.
* Receiving calls from our clients and support workers.
* There will be training and ongoing support provided by the team.
* Any ad hoc task required by the management.


On‑Call Availability

Must be available Monday to Friday from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and on weekends and public holidays as needed, to answer calls from support workers and clients, and make roster adjustments.


Qualifications

* Strong prioritisation skills, with a proven ability to manage workloads to achieve desired business outcomes.
* Experience using Scheduling software (preferred Brevity and Deputy).
* Proficiency in problem‑solving, including root cause analysis.
* Minimum of 1 year experience in scheduling or rostering for a Disability Support provider or Aged Care Service Provider.
* Understanding of the disability framework.
* National Police Clearance.
* NDIS Workers Screening Check (can obtain upon appointment).
* NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate (can obtain upon appointment).
* Highly organised and ability to multi‑task in a fast‑paced environment.
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
* Enthusiasm and positive engagement with both employees and participants.
* Understanding of professional boundaries, privacy and confidentiality issues.
* Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office products and data management systems.
* A proactive approach to the safety and wellbeing of yourself and participants.
* Applicants must have the right to live and work in Western Australia.
