As a key member of the stakeholder management team, you will be responsible for providing expert communication advice and support to all levels of the business within the region.

You will work closely with project teams to develop and implement effective communication plans that engage stakeholders, manage issues, and ensure successful project outcomes.

Your Key Responsibilities
">
* Provide communication advice and support in the areas of communication strategy and risk assessment, stakeholder and community engagement, and media and issues management related to infrastructure projects.
* Develop and maintain ongoing key strategic relationships and networks with other government agencies, project partners, contractors, community, and interest groups and internal and external clients.
* Plan, develop, implement, and manage key communication activities and events as required.
* Ensure appropriate governance frameworks are maintained and adhered to in order to monitor compliance with policy, legislation, regulations, standards, and procedures.

The Ideal Candidate
">
* You have experience in a strategic communication or community engagement role in an environment dealing with major infrastructure projects, particularly in the transport or civil engineering sector.
* You possess proficiency in building and sustaining relationships to enable the collaborative delivery of customer-focused outcomes.
* You have aptitude for adjusting to evolving environments and changing expectations.
* You demonstrate capability in community engagement, executive correspondence, public relations, and media.
* You may hold a degree in communications, public relations, journalism, or marketing, although qualifications are not mandatory.
* You may also hold International Association for Public Participation (IAP2) in Engagement certification or be willing to obtain it independently.
