This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and growing firm that is shaping the future of private equity investments in Australia.Job DescriptionAs the Finance Manager your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: Overseeing financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple investment vehicles.
Preparing financial statements and liaising with auditors, tax advisors, and external stakeholders.
Ensuring compliance is met across APRA reporting and their AFSL license.
Managing fund accounting, including capital calls, distributions, and performance reporting.
Monitoring investment performance and working closely with portfolio companies to ensure financial governance.
Implementing and improving internal financial controls and risk management frameworks.
Providing strategic financial insights to senior leadership and investors.
Managing cash flow and liquidity across investment structures.
The Successful ApplicantTo be successful in this role, you will be a highly skilled finance professional with deep expertise in private equity, investment management and or funds management.
Key requirements include: CA/CPA qualified with a strong technical accounting background.
Experience in financial control, fund accounting, or investment management within a private equity, asset management, or financial services firm.
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
High attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
