We have an exciting new opportunity for a Group HSE Advisor to join our dynamic team.
Responsibilities
* Provide HSE advice, training, and support to Project Managers and wider team on site, fostering a strong safety culture.
* Oversee site-based HSE activities to promote a safe and healthy work environment, ensure equipment is used safely, and materials are handled correctly.
* Ensure all personnel, including subcontractors, are properly trained in safety systems and procedures, and that these are consistently followed.
* Lead incident investigations, compile detailed reports with recommendations, and drive the implementation of corrective and preventative measures.
* Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to identify hazards and implement effective control measures.
* Monitor HSE performance, facilitate toolbox talks and safety inductions, and collaborate with project teams to proactively manage risks.
Qualifications
* 3+ years of HSE experience in a civil construction or mining environment (essential).
* Tertiary qualification in WHS, OHS, or similar (essential).
* Strong communication skills and the confidence to engage with people at all levels, leading by example and taking initiative.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving capability.
