The Role
As a Paralegal within our Real Estate Group based at our Sydney office, you will play an integral role in supporting our lawyers across a wide range of property matters. This position is full-time.
Reporting to the Senior Licenced Conveyancer, your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting the property team with end-to-end file management, from initial instructions through to post-settlement matters.
- Preparing and drafting correspondence, contracts for sale of land, settlement figures, and other legal documentation.
- Managing and maintaining client files and correspondence throughout the conveyancing process, including accurate data entry and document organisation.
- Liaising with clients, real estate agents, lenders, solicitors, and brokers to coordinate smooth transactions.
- Using PEXA to manage workflow, input data, and facilitate electronic settlements and lodgments.
- Undertaking and reviewing property searches, land title checks and other relevant documentation for due diligence purposes.
This role is open to students and graduates, looking for full-time work and have some prior experience. You will also have the following:
