Product Planner

Due to business expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Product Planner to join our System Business Group in New South Wales, reporting to the Consumer Product Lead - SYS BG.
The Product Planner will support Product Managers with planning, forecasting, order booking and supply chain management of multiple product categories in the Australian and New Zealand consumer markets.
Key aspects of the role are including but not limited to:
* Forecast Development: Maintain product availability forecasts in line with key business timelines up to 6 months out.
* Allocation Maintenance: Adjust forecasts based on product allocations and prioritise supply for models that are forecasted to have higher demand, ensuring that stock levels align with market needs.
* Plan Adjustments: Work closely with local and Head Office teams to respond to unexpected changes in demand, including stock adjustments and inventory swaps with other regions to meet customer needs.
* Order Bookings: Schedule product orders and ensure timely booking to ASUS Plan ahead system and EMS (Electronics Manufacturing Services) ahead of company deadlines. Process distributor PO requests by submitting partner forecasts to validate sell-out supportability.
* Supply Chain Management (SCM): Monitor aging and high-stock models, taking proactive measures to address issues with Product Managers and Account Executives to help minimise stock aging & optimise inventory turnover. Enhance reporting capabilities to reflect historical data and help maintain files and processes that improve tracking and forecasting accuracy. Collaborate with Product Managers on addressing patterns and competitors' product and pricing strategies.
Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualifications, Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management or a related field is preferred
* Proven experience in product planning, demand forecasting, or supply chain management
* Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis and forecasting tools
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams
* Detail-oriented with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
* A passion for creative writing on digital channels
* Love everything digital, social media and follow the latest trends and best practices
* Contribute to creative briefing and ideation
* Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
