With a healthy pipeline of live projects and a growing commercial portfolio, we're looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our Commercial team. You'll play a key role in driving the commercial performance of projects – ensuring accurate forecasting, cost control, and contract compliance while contributing to Kapitol's reputation for excellence.
Working alongside Project Managers, Site Teams, and Contract Administrators, you'll take ownership of end-to-end financial management across live projects – from procurement and reporting through to final accounts.

What you'll do:
* Prepare, assess, and negotiate progress claims, variations, and final accounts.
* Prepare and submit head contract variations and related documentation to clients.
* Assess, negotiate, and finalise subcontractor variations to maintain commercial accuracy.
* Support cost forecasting, budget control, and value management throughout project delivery.
* Conduct risk reviews and ensure compliance with commercial procedures and governance frameworks.
* Provide accurate, timely financial reporting and insights to the project team.
* Collaborate with Project Managers and Contract Administrators to maintain strong commercial performance.
* Participate in project reviews, identifying opportunities to optimise financial outcomes.
What you'll bring:
* Degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field.
* Proven experience in a Quantity Surveying or Contract Administration role within commercial construction.
* Sound understanding of cost management, subcontractor administration, and construction contracts.
* Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for accuracy and detail.
* Excellent stakeholder communication and negotiation skills.
* Highly proficient in cost management systems (e.g. Jobpac, Cheops, Excel, Bluebeam).
