Cattle are sourced from a wide supply area, including the Northern Territory, north and north-western Queensland and packed into the AMH brand, the most trusted name in beef.
The facility employs approximately 430 employees and processes approximately 900 head per day, operating 5 days/week.
About the Role
JBS Townsville is currently recruiting experienced Cold Stores Labourers and Forklift Drivers to join the team in a full-time capacity.
About You
Hold a current forklift license, advantageous but not mandatory
Previous experience with manual handling,container loading and unloading, cold storage and warehousing
Previous experience working in a temperature-controlled environment (chiller/freezer)
Previous experience with order picking and palletising advantageous
Previous experience with RF scanning advantageous
Willingness to participate in a well-developed team environment from general labouring to highly skilled key positions
Willing to undergo a Q Fever vaccination
Have access to reliable transport to travel safely to and from work
