As a Sheet Metal Worker with Northeast Engineering your primary focus is to fabricate, assemble, and produce high‐quality toolboxes and custom sheet metal products according to customer specifications, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.
About The Role
* Fabricating a variety of sheet metal components and products using press break, guillotine, cutting, bending, and TIG welding.
* Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.
* Operating a range of sheet metal machinery and equipment, such as brake press and welding machines.
* Manufacturing various types of toolboxes in different sizes and custom designs using 2 mm sheet metal.
* Loading and unloading material and product with an overhead crane.
* Performing machine maintenance – daily, weekly, and monthly.
* Maintaining a clean and safe working area (housekeeping).
About You
* Sheet metal fabricator / welder qualification.
* Minimum 2 years' experience.
* Experience in CNC break press operation.
* Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.
* Attention to detail and high level of precision.
* Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
* Strong problem‐solving and troubleshooting skills.
* Proficiency in using measuring tools for quality control.
