About the Role...
As an In Work Support Consultant, your role will be to monitor and provide post placement support to participants in employment. Identify barriers to ongoing employment and provide a solution-focused approach to assist the participant in maintaining employment.
Location: Preference to be based at Mandurah WA.
Role Coverage: North Metro, WA
Responsibilities
* Providing consistent and proactive support to employed participants through regular telephone and/or face-to-face contact.
* Monitoring their progress, addressing any challenges they may encounter in the workplace, and offering guidance to help them maintain long-term employment.
* Preparing and submitting claim evidence and documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with contractual and organisational requirements.
* Identifying and recommending additional or alternative training, resources, or support services based on the individual needs and circumstances of each participant.
* Effectively managing a caseload, ensuring all activities are conducted in line with contractual obligations, internal policies, and quality standards.
* Maintaining accurate records, meeting performance targets, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

* Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively across diverse audiences.
* Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with key stakeholders.
* Self-motivated, with the ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
* Exceptional time management and organisational skills, with the capacity to prioritise tasks in a high-performance, target-driven setting.
* High-level administrative skills, including accurate data entry and meticulous attention to detail.
* Intermediate computer proficiency, particularly in Microsoft Office applications such as Outlook, Excel, and Word.
* Demonstrated experience in Employment Services or clearly transferable skills relevant to the sector.
* Ability to work unsupervised in dynamic and sometimes challenging environments.
* Strong engagement and relationship-building capabilities, essential for fostering client and stakeholder trust.
* Proven ability to thrive in performance-focused environments, meeting or exceeding KPIs and service expectations.
* Sound knowledge of employment contracts, with confirmation of successful probation completion with APM.

* Eligibility to work in Australia
* A current driver's licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
* A MyID (Standard level)
* Willing to complete a National Police Check
* Able to pass a Working with Children Check
* Available to work Full-Time Monday to Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm
