Discover more via our website. Your next career opportunity In this pivotal role, you will co-lead Melbourne Dental School’s strategy, operations and change agenda. You will grow partnerships, strengthen finances, and unite clinical, research and teaching teams at the Royal Dental Hospital. You will also shape new industry-facing initiatives and innovation projects, supported by a capable School Operations Manager. What you will deliver: Co-lead school strategy and operations with the Head of School, driving growth, transformation and organisational effectiveness. Shape and manage school budgets and forecasts, identifying financial levers, risks and opportunities to support sustainable growth. Lead business development, industry engagement and strategic projects, including establishing a new innovation and enterprise unit. Oversee professional services, infrastructure and business processes, ensuring integrated, efficient support across teaching, research and clinical activities. Develop, mentor and empower professional staff, building a high-performance, service-focused culture grounded in accountability and transparency. You may be a great fit if you: Hold a relevant postgraduate qualification and bring substantial management experience in higher education, health or research settings. Demonstrate expertise in complex budgeting, financial analysis and identifying revenue or growth opportunities within constrained environments. Lead significant change initiatives, using structured change management approaches to deliver improved systems, structures and staff engagement. Excel at influencing senior academics and professional stakeholders, building consensus and commitment without unnecessary conflict. Provide confident leadership of multidisciplinary professional teams, including workforce planning, performance development and organisational design. Bring experience with clinical, hospital or industry partnerships, and an entrepreneurial mindset for innovation and external engagement. For further information please refer to the attached PD.
