Located in the heart of Brunswick Heads, the iconic, community centric Hotel Brunswick is seeking a detail-obsessed, music-passionate Assistant/Duty Manager & Entertainment Booker to join our customer focused and energetic Front of House team. As an Assistant Manager, you would assist the Venue Leadership Team & the collective venue team to successfully operate the hotel's Food & Beverage operations in a hands-on, Front of House capacity.
In this role, your primary KPI will be sourcing, booking, and managing live entertainment and music acts that align with our brand and showcase world class music in Brunswick Heads. You'll work closely with the Venue & Operations Manager along with the Marketing Team to build an entertainment calendar that drives foot traffic, revenue, and continues to develop the great reputation of Hotel Brunswick.

Role Purpose
* To lead through Redcape's purpose, values and behaviours to deliver on our key performance metrics.
* To support your Venue Manager in building, coaching and developing a skilled, capable and motivated venue team that delivers extraordinary customer experiences and drives venue performance.
Duties, Responsibilities & Expectations
You would work cohesively as a member of the Front of House Team, helping to taking carriage of general hotel operations, driving performance, executing strategic initiatives and improving/sustaining both Customer & Staff Experience. The key responsibilities for this role will include:
* Proven experience booking talent or working in a similar role (hospitality, events, music).
* Music enthusiasts with a strong knowledge and passion for the live music and entertainment scene.
* Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
* Detail-oriented, highly organized, self-motivated, and target-driven.
* Ability to thrive in a high-energy, team-oriented environment.
* Collaboratively working alongside or within various teams as we strive to offer an outstanding customer experience.
* Lead a large, diverse team in a fast moving environment.
* Have customer focus approach to our work – always having the attitude to make someone's day.
* Ability to work in a variety of departments and flexibility to adapt to a fast paced F&B environment.
* Ensuring we maintain exceptional venue standards in relation to cleanliness and presentation.

* Fulfil a variety of rotating rostered shifts including opens, mids, closes, weekends and public holidays in conjunction with our Hotel's operating hours.
