Job Description
A GP role with a unique twist. Work alongside emergency care, all under one roof.
At Greencross Woolloongabba, we’re offering something a little different. This is a general practice (GP) role in a dual-site facility, where our GP clinic is co-located with the Animal Emergency Centre. That means you’ll be part of a team that provides comprehensive care from routine consults to complex cases, with the support of emergency vets and advanced diagnostics just steps away.
Our clinic is well-established, busy, and trusted by a loyal client base. Led by Dr Tim, our team is known for being kind, collaborative, and committed to doing great work together. We’re proud of the culture we’ve built, one that values people just as much as pets.
What makes Woolloongabba special
* A genuinely supportive team that values curiosity, kindness, and collaboration
* Purpose-built spaces including 10 consult rooms, 3 surgical theatres, ICU, dental suite, and advanced imaging
* The opportunity to work closely with emergency vets and specialists in a shared facility
Shifts that support your life outside of work
Our GP clinic operates with extended hours, but our roster is designed to give you balance. You’ll either start early and finish early (7:00am to 5:00pm), or enjoy a later start (10:30am to 8:30pm), giving you time to do the things you love before or after work. Whether it’s a morning swim, a coffee catch-up, or an evening yoga class, there’s space for it.
We also ask for just two Saturdays per month, and rosters are planned well in advance so you can organise your life with confidence.
Need more flexibility? Just let us know. We’d still love to hear from you.
What we offer
* Competitive salary and relocation support if needed
* Generous CPD allowance, study leave, and paid parental leave
* Flexible rosters to support work-life balance
* Access to industry-leading training and development
* Mental health and wellbeing support via Telus Health
* Employee discounts across our network
Who we’re hoping to meet
* A vet with at least 2 years’ experience in small animal GP
* Someone who enjoys working as part of a team and values open communication
* A clinician who’s confident in managing both routine and complex cases, and who brings a thoughtful, client-focused approach
