We are seeking a highly skilled and professional corporate waiter to join our team in Brisbane. The ideal candidate will possess excellent composure, the ability to prioritise and problem-solve under pressure, and a high level of client focus. Day-to-day, you'll be responsible for:
1. Liaising with Front of House Supervisor, Client Services Coordinator, and Head Chef regarding food and beverage requirements for meetings and functions on level 29, 30 & 31 and other areas as required.
2. Providing waiter services for meetings, functions, and events on HSF premises.
3. Monitoring functions and services in meeting room booking systems, ensuring prompt and accurate delivery of services in compliance with standards and procedures.
4. Ensuring meeting rooms are cleared, cleaned, and restocked promptly after meetings and events, in compliance with standards and procedures.
5. Supporting client and internal staff use of technology and video connectivity facilities in the meeting and multi-purpose rooms on level 31.
6. Assisting Front of House Supervisor in monitoring and ordering consumables, managing and recording stock utilization.
7. Providing support and backfill for the Café when required, including operation of POS system.
8. Supporting all client services staff when required.
9. Assisting with occasional kitchen duties and/or supporting after-hours events as required.
10. Ensuring Food Safety plan is adhered to and compliant with all relevant standards, including food handling, cleanliness, and dishwashing.
11. Complying with WHS obligations and responsibilities as per legislation and company policies.
To be successful in this position you will have:
1. Professional services experience in boardroom, restaurant, or five-star hotel waiter roles.
2. Current RSA certification.
3. Exceptional coffee-making skills.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
5. Experience with room and resource scheduling software and POS systems.
