Key Roles and Responsibilities
The primary objective of this position is to ensure the efficient management of stock levels, receipt and dispatch of new and/or repairable items, and effective distribution of parts. This role is responsible for conducting regular stock-takes, maintaining an overview of stock levels, and analysing trends for stock efficiency.
This involves:
* Managing the operation and distribution of all parts, ensuring efficient and effective store/warehouse servicing
* Conducting regular stock-takes and cyclic counts to maintain accurate stock levels based on trends
* Raising purchase orders as required, adhering to established purchasing policies
* Liaising with internal and external suppliers on stock issue, escalating issues as necessary
* Maintaining an overview of stock levels and analysing trends for stock efficiency
Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will require:
* Previous experience in a leadership position, preferably in a similar field
* A full car license (minimum)
* Relevant qualifications or experience in parts supply and management
* Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in integrated software systems
* Excellent planning and organisational skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines
