About the Role We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer – Bridges to join the T2D Project team in Adelaide. This long-term contract role will support the delivery of bridge and civil structures on one of South Australia's largest infrastructure projects, with a strong site-based focus.
Key Responsibilities
* Support day-to-day site delivery of bridge works in line with program and specifications
* Set out works and provide engineering support to site crews and subcontractors
* Interpret and implement design drawings, specifications, and technical documents
* Coordinate site activities related to bridges, footpaths, FRP elements, and concrete slabs
* Ensure works comply with ITPs, quality standards, and project requirements
* Assist with preparation of work packs, permits, and method statements
* Conduct inspections, manage hold points, and maintain QA documentation
* Monitor progress and report on site productivity and issues
* Promote and maintain high safety and environmental standards on site
Required Experience & Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent
* Previous experience as a Site Engineer on bridge or major civil infrastructure projects
* Demonstrated experience with:
* Bridge construction
* Footpaths and associated civil works
* FRP (Fibre Reinforced Polymer) components
* Concrete slabs and structural concrete
* Strong understanding of construction sequencing, QA, and site controls
