Ormeau Woods State High School is seeking two casual Cleaners to join our team and contribute to the efficient and effective operation of the school by providing a high standard of cleaning support. The successful applicants will be responsible for completing cleaning duties as outlined in the approved school cleaning program, to a standard
determined by their supervisor. We are looking for individuals who are reliable, flexible with shifts, and available for backfilling as needed. Shift times include morning shifts from 4:15am to 8:15am and afternoon shifts from 2:00pm to 6:00pm.

About the Role
As the Cleaner, you will be a reliable and flexible team member, available to work a variety of shifts and provide backfill support as needed. Shift times include morning shifts from 4:15am to 8:15am and afternoon shifts from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. In this role, you will work alongside dedicated team members to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our school facilities. Your attention to detail and commitment to high standards will play an essential role in supporting the health, safety, and overall wellbeing of our school community.
Our Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
* A strong work ethic and positive attitude
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Previous cleaning experience (preferred but not essential)
* Availability to work flexible hours on a casual basis
Your Responsibilities
As the cleaner, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
* General cleaning of classrooms, offices, bathrooms, and shared spaces
* Ensuring cleanliness standards are met and maintained
* Working effectively as part of a supportive and collaborative team
