We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Financial Controller to join a medium-sized Australian owned and operated business. This FC role, located in Keilor East is the perfect opportunity to be hands-on, lead and oversee financial operations in a fantastic working culture.

Some travel inside VIC may be required.
Description
* Oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
* Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business top and bottom line profitability.
* Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
* Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes effectively in conjunction with CEO.
* Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
* Liaise with external auditors, banks, and attend board meetings.
* Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
* Ensure robust internal controls are maintained across all financial operations.
Profile
A successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate:
* A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
* CPA or CA qualification.
* Proven and strong leadership experience within a finance team.
* Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
* Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
* Pronto experience, preferred but not essential.
* A proactive approach to problem‐solving and decision‐making.
Job Offer
* Salary of $160,000 - $170,000 plus superannuation, pending experience.
