We are on the lookout for a highly motivated Financial Controller to join a medium-sized Australian owned and operated business. This FC role, located in Keilor East is the perfect opportunity to be hands-on, lead and oversee financial operations in a fantastic working culture.

Some travel inside VIC may be required.
Description
Oversee the organisation's financial operations, ensuring compliance with regulations and internal policies.
Develop and implement financial strategies to drive business top and bottom line profitability.
Prepare and present accurate financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow processes effectively in conjunction with CEO.
Provide leadership and mentorship to the finance team.
Liaise with external auditors, banks, and attend board meetings.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost efficiencies.
Ensure robust internal controls are maintained across all financial operations.
Profile A successful Financial Controller will be able to demonstrate:
A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA or CA qualification.
Proven and strong leadership experience within a finance team.
Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication skills to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
Pronto experience, preferred but not essential.
A proactive approach to problem‑solving and decision‑making.
Job Offer
Salary of $160,000 - $170,000 plus superannuation, pending experience.
Lead a small-to-medium sized team.
