Job Description
We are seeking a talented and motivated individual to join our team as a Graduate Game Designer. In this role, you will be responsible for creating innovative gaming experiences with a diverse group of professionals.
You will work closely with our experienced designers, artists, sound designers, and software engineers to develop engaging games that meet the highest standards of quality.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Making games with a team of experienced professionals;
* Utilizing advanced game design, mathematical, and creative skills to develop multiple assigned games;
* Executing full scope of game design activities involving creative thinking, industry knowledge, and technical skills;
* Developing and analyzing game mathematical properties and designing updates for assigned game applications;
* Utilizing knowledge of customer preferences, math probability theories, and play design concepts;
* Performing tasks efficiently and effectively, accepting new projects as required;
* Consistently performing to high standards of accuracy and thoroughness;
* Exhibiting a positive manner and working well with colleagues and customers.
Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* A Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, or Engineering;
* Proficiency in any programming language, preferably C or C++;
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel;
* Proven ability to create game concepts and math models;
* Ability to work in teams and meet deadlines;
* Expertise in gambling concepts and styles;
* Strong communication skills and team orientation;
* Passion for casino slot and table games (a plus);
* Interest in various games, including card, dice, and video games;
* An Australian residency with a valid work visa.
