BOC Gas and Gear in Rocklea is seeking a full-time, driven and energetic Business Trainee to join their team.
As a leading global gases and engineering company, BOC supplies gases and equipment across a range of sectors, including heavy industry and medical environments.
This role provides an excellent prospect to earn while you learn, working towards the completion of a BSB30120 Certificate III in Business, while gaining hands-on experience in their dynamic, supportive workplace.
As a member of the team, you will be involved in various business operations and support activities. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing data entry, document scanning, and filing accurately and efficiently
- Handling phone calls and managing emails as needed
- Preparing documents, reports, and materials required for business operations
- Assisting with routine administrative tasks to ensure smooth workflow
- Supporting general office duties and ad hoc administrative responsibilities as required
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
- Full time 12-month contract including paid annual and personal leave
- Access to 1:1 mentoring
About You
We are looking for a driven, self-motivated professional with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in this role. The ideal candidate will demonstrate:
- Reliability, punctuality, and a strong commitment to fulfilling responsibilities
- Proactivity and resourcefulness, with the ability to identify and implement solutions independently
- Holds a valid driver’s licence and has access to reliable personal transportation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfort with basic computer and phone operations, including Microsoft Office applications
- A willingness to learn new systems, including SAP (training will be provided if needed)
- The ability to pass a Pre-Employment Medical, Drug and Alcohol Screen and Police Check
