About the Position
Assistant Director / 2IC – Off the floor role, focused on performance excellence across multiple childcare centres.
Key Responsibilities
* Improve operational efficiency by optimising enrolment strategies, workforce planning and financial management.
* Build a motivated and high‑performing team by driving professional development and leadership growth.
* Guide and support childcare educators to achieve success.
* Collaborate closely with the leadership team to implement strategic improvements.
* Ensure the centre complies with regulatory, licensing and safety standards.
* Maintain service quality and operational effectiveness.
Your Experience & Expertise
* Current Assistant Director level experience within the childcare sector.
* Proven ability to drive business growth and enhance operational efficiency.
* Strong leadership skills, capable of inspiring and developing high‑performing teams.
* Comprehensive knowledge of the National Quality Framework and childcare regulations (preferred).
* Strong educational background and early childhood sector experience.
