About the role
We are seeking a friendly and professional Medical Receptionist to join our team at Malibu Podiatry in Safety Bay, Western Australia. This is a part-time position that will involve managing the front-of-house operations and providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
This position requires 16-20 hours per week.
What you'll be doing
* Greeting patients and visitors
* Efficiently managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling and cancellations
* Handling patient queries and providing information about our services
* Maintaining accurate patient records and updating electronic medical files
* Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth running of the practice
* Ensuring the reception area is well-presented and organised at all times
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a medical or healthcare reception role, preferably in allied health or similar setting
* Minimum 1-2 years of medical reception experience required
* Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with patients from diverse backgrounds
* Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively
* Proficiency in using medical software and electronic patient record systems
* Experience with medical software system is required for managing patient records and appointments
* A warm, friendly and professional demeanour, with a genuine interest in providing exceptional patient care
