As a Payroll Officer, you will take charge of the end-to-end payroll function. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Executing full-function end-to-end payroll processes
- Interpreting awards accurately
- Processing weekly timesheets
- Calculating termination and redundancy payouts
- Reconciling payroll tax and PAYG obligations and preparing reports
- Maintaining payroll and time and attendance data
- Handling new starters and terminations efficiently
- Addressing payroll queries with professionalism
- Managing superannuation, leave, and entitlements
- Generating ad hoc payroll reports and conducting data analysis
**Requirements**:
- Preferred 3 years or more of payroll experience
- Experience within the construction/manufacturing industry advantageous
- Exceptional communication skills
- Proficiency in interpreting timesheets and accurately calculating overtime
- Familiarity with DataPay/Frontier
