Position Summary:
Australian Fundraising are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Digital Marketing Coordinator to join our team. This role is responsible for developing, executing, and optimising digital marketing strategies that enhance brand awareness, drive website traffic, and generate qualified leads. Working closely with the broader marketing team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will manage campaigns across key digital channels, including social media, email, paid media, and website content.
Key Responsibilities
Digital Marketing & Content:
* Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns across social media, email, and website channels.
* Create, schedule, and manage high-quality content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.
* Monitor and analyse website traffic, engagement metrics, and campaign results to drive continuous improvement.
* Collaborate with the marketing team to develop and implement targeted email marketing campaigns.
* Manage and update website content, including landing pages, blog posts, and promotional updates.
* Stay current with the latest digital marketing trends, tools, and best practices.
* Assist in the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, flyers, presentations, and other collateral.
* Coordinate with external agencies, freelancers, and vendors as required.
Technical Exclusive Requirements:
Search Engine Optimisation (SEO)
* Conduct keyword research to identify high-value search opportunities.
* Optimise website pages, metadata, and landing experiences for organic visibility.
* Monitor rankings, organic traffic, and SEO performance trends.
* Perform on-page and basic technical SEO audits.
* Recommend improvements to enhance visibility, user experience, and conversions.
Google Ads
* Create, manage, and optimise Search, Display, and YouTube campaigns.
* Set up and maintain conversion tracking via Google Tag Manager.
* Adjust bidding strategies to minimise CPA and maximise ROAS.
* Write effective ad copy and perform A/B testing.
* Analyse performance data and provide regular insights and reporting.
Meta Ads (Facebook & Instagram)
* Build and optimise campaigns across all Meta placements.
* Create custom audiences, lookalikes, and retargeting funnels.
* Develop and test creative assets, ad formats, and messaging variations.
* Monitor KPIs and adjust budgets, targeting, and delivery as needed.
* Implement and troubleshoot Meta Pixel tracking and attribution issues.
Mailchimp (Segmentation & Tags)
* Build and maintain segmented audiences based on behaviour and interests.
* Create dynamic tags and automated customer journeys.
* Set up personalised email campaigns for specific segments.
* Improve deliverability and campaign performance through A/B testing.
* Analyse engagement metrics and maintain list hygiene.
Desirable (Bonus) Skills
Amazon Ads
* Set up Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, and Sponsored Display campaigns.
* Conduct keyword harvesting and implement negative keyword strategies.
* Monitor ACoS, ROAS, and product-level performance.
* Align product listing optimisation with paid strategy.
* Provide insights to improve visibility and sales outcomes.
General Exclusive Requirements
* Strong analytical ability and confidence interpreting cross-platform data.
* Ability to manage multiple campaigns and priorities simultaneously.
* Experience preparing clear, actionable reports with insights and recommendations.
* High attention to detail and a proactive optimisation mindset.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
* Minimum 2+ years of experience in digital marketing.
* Strong understanding of digital channels, including social media, email, website management, and paid advertising.
* Experience with marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo).
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
* Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
