We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Occupational Therapist (Level 1–2) to join our Mental Health Adolescent Unit on a permanent full-time and part-time basis. In this rewarding role, you will provide occupational therapy assessment, intervention, and support to adolescents experiencing mental ill health, helping them build the skills and confidence needed for recovery and daily functioning.

*What You'll Be Doing*
Provide a high quality occupational therapy service to clients and their families/carers to ensure the provision of optimal health outcomes for the clients of the service. This encompasses ensuring effective and efficient entry, assessment, treatment planning, treatment implementation, evaluation and separation of patients/clients in a multi-disciplinary setting. The Occupational Therapist is also responsible for undertaking designated administrative tasks necessary to support service delivery.

SWSLHD Inpatient Mental Health Services provide comprehensive care across several facilities, including the newly redeveloped Campbelltown Hospital and Liverpool Hospital. These services offer a safe and therapeutic environment for individuals with acute and non-acute mental health needs.
The multidisciplinary teams, consisting of professionals with diverse mental health expertise, deliver exceptional care through specialised units such as the Mental Health Intensive Care Unit, Adult Acute Unit, and Older People's Mental Health Unit. The service is committed to patient safety and high-quality care, maintaining external accreditation with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards.

1. Recognised Degree in Occupational Therapy or other qualification deemed appropriate by the employer, with registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

3. How do you apply evidence-based practice and quality improvement principles in your work, and how have your communication skills, computer literacy, and commitment to ongoing professional development supported your effectiveness in clinical practice?
4. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
