Job Title: Research Coordinator
The Department of Anaesthesia is a dynamic and research-focused unit, responsible for providing anaesthesia services to the Alfred Hospital and the Bayside Network. The department plays an active role in medical student education for Monash University, and has a busy research unit with ongoing trials.
To assist the Research Manager in managing the unit and fulfilling core values for the organisation's research mission, we seek a skilled Research Coordinator. This role promotes the hospital's vision of being a driving force in Australia's leading health care system, advancing the practice and science of healthcare, and providing a link between complex clinical care, research, and people who do both.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist the Research Manager in managing the unit and fulfilling core values for the organisation's research mission
* Coordinate research projects and trials
* Manage databases and other research tools
* Provide administrative support to the Research Manager
Qualifications and Experience:
* Relevant tertiary qualification/registered nurse (Vic.) division 1
* Postgraduate degree
* Previous experience in research
* Computer literacy an advantage
