Forensic Clinician
The role involves working with individuals who have committed crimes to provide evidence-based assessment and intervention services. This includes delivering comprehensive assessments, clinical interviews, treatment interventions, and treatment plans. The successful candidate will be part of a multidisciplinary team and work in a supportive correctional environment.
Key responsibilities include:
* Comprehensive assessments including risk assessments.
* Clinical interviews to develop person-centred rehabilitation pathways.
* Treatment interventions employing evidence-based assessment tools.
* Treatment programs involving individual and group sessions.
The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical skills, excellent communication abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment. A current driver's licence is also required as travel to correctional facilities is a requirement of the role.
To apply, you must hold or be eligible for registration as a Psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA), eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW), or other relevant qualifications.
