Job Description
We are seeking a Splunk Lead to assist with the design, development, and support of Splunk Infrastructure & applications.
This role will be part of the Cognitive & Robotics (Automation Development Centre) team under the EAF (Enterprise Automation Fabrics) Business unit, responsible for managing the global Splunk infrastructure. It is a strategic position crucial for the design, implementation, support, performance, and integrity of the Splunk ecosystem. You will collaborate with multiple stakeholders and global partners, working closely with developers and various IT, Security, and Engineering teams to gather requirements, architect solutions, and leverage the Splunk platform for data collection.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in Splunk administration and development.
- Knowledge of APM/Monitoring tools like Zabbix, Centrion, etc.
- Experience managing Splunk On-Premises Core infrastructure.
- Experience with Splunk Apps, add-ons, installation, and upgrades.
- Experience with Splunk Knowledge Object Management.
- Proficiency in Splunk Search Processing Language (SPL).
- Experience administering and maintaining Linux operating systems.
- Knowledge of premium Splunk apps such as IT Service Intelligence.
- System integration experience using web services (SOAP, REST, JSON).
- Proficiency in UNIX shell scripting or Python; experience using CLI or API for configuration management.
- Good understanding of TCP/IP, IT security, and single sign-on technologies.
- Ability to assist in designing and deploying Splunk in new setups.
- Knowledge of Data Onboarding and Splunk architecture.
- Experience creating dashboards and reports.
- Experience integrating Splunk with third-party monitoring tools and ITSM tools.
- Knowledge of Splunk AIOPS Machine Learning features such as adaptive threshold, anomaly detection, predictive analytics, and event correlation.
