Each year, a dedicated group of Year 10 students, accompanied by their teachers, travel to Heron Island to undertake field studies as part of their VCE Unit 2 Biology curriculum. We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Marine Biologist with a strong understanding of Heron Island's unique ecosystem to engage our students and provide insight into life as a scientist.
Dates for the trip are: 19-27 June 2025
- Have a background in Marine Biology and a sound knowledge of Heron Island's marine environment.
- Be an engaging communicator, able to connect with both students and staff.
- Demonstrate strong leadership, initiative, and a proactive approach to safety.
- Possess relevant snorkelling qualifications and recent snorkel experience at Heron Island.
