About the Role
This full-time position involves working with participants to identify their employment goals and develop tailored plans to achieve them. You will also provide ongoing support and guidance to help them overcome any challenges they may face in the workplace.
Key responsibilities include:
* Conducting comprehensive assessments to identify participants' strengths, skills, and interests
* Developing individualized employment plans that address specific barriers and needs
* Providing regular coaching and mentoring to ensure successful placement and retention
* Collaborating with employers to promote inclusive hiring practices and workplace adjustments
You will be responsible for managing a caseload of participants, which may include conducting home visits, phone calls, or meetings at our office. A flexible approach to work arrangements is essential, as you may need to adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need:
* A strong background in social work, community services, or a related field
* Experience working with individuals with disabilities, particularly those with complex needs
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to build rapport with clients and stakeholders
* Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
* A high level of organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and deadlines
You may also have experience in sales, retail, call centre, hospitality, consulting, business development, and administration, which can be valuable in this role.
