We provide a caring, supportive environment for older people across over 84 locations in Australia. The role focuses on ensuring high standards of food safety, quality, and resident satisfaction in a residential aged‐care setting.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the Chef Manager with kitchen compliance including food safety, WHS, and quality standards
* Manage stock control and ordering
* Oversee resident dietary management
* Control kitchen and food cost
* Produce and deliver high‐quality meals
* Deliver service excellence across all aspects of the dining experience
* Maintain a strong front‐of‐house presence and communicate with residents and families
* Provide leadership and guidance to kitchen staff to ensure smooth operation
Qualifications and Experience
* Qualification: Cert III/IV in Commercial Cookery (or equivalent experience)
* Experience as a cook or currently enrolled in a related program
* Aged‐care experience advantageous but not required
* Understanding of special dietary needs
* Strong time‐management and interpersonal skills
* Willingness to work as part of a broader catering team to continually improve the catering experience
