Work that matters
This position will lead the Coursework Scholarships and Prizes team to deliver outstanding service and continuous improvement, by fostering a high-performing, customer-focused culture and ongoing professional development. It will develop and implement policies and procedures for the administration of scholarships, grants and prizes, ensuring compliance with relevant guidelines and legislation. The Senior Manager will lead the strategic promotion of scholarships, grants and prizes, delivering accurate and timely information to students, staff, and external stakeholders through effective communication channels, and will manage the oversight of fair and transparent application and selection processes for scholarships, grants and prizes, in accordance with relevant policies and procedures, and scheme conditions.

The team
Reporting to the Director, Scholarships and Admissions Standards, this role oversees a team of 14 peolpe, making decisions on prioritising, scheduling, local resource allocation, and immediate process improvements; and also provides initial feedback that informs tactical planning.
This role forms part of the Scholarships and Admissions Standards team within the Student and Academic Services Function and will provide role guidance, professional development, direction and coaching for between 2 and 5 direct reports.
