Job Description
Services Australia is seeking Senior Infrastructure Engineers (SAP Security) to deliver expert ICT security services within a large and complex government environment. These roles focus on the creation, maintenance and operational support of SAP security roles and access within critical systems supporting Services Australia and shared services agencies.
The Senior Infrastructure Engineer - SAP Security works under broad direction and exercises a high degree of independence, using sound judgement to deliver quality outcomes while considering wider departmental impacts. The role includes technical leadership responsibilities, driving innovation, improving workplace practices and managing competing priorities aligned to strategic direction.
There is no on-call requirement; however, some tasks may need to be undertaken outside standard business hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Creation and maintenance of SAP Security roles for Services Australia and shared services agencies, including NDIA and DVA
* Monitoring and development of SAP Identity Management (IDM)
* Monitoring and development of SAP Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC)
* Monitoring and development of SAP HANA security roles
* Providing expert technical support for SAP Security production issues
* Delivering technical leadership and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives
Knowledge/Skills required
Essential:
* Minimum 10 or more years' experience as an expert SAP Security Engineer or Analyst
* Expert technical knowledge of SAP Security platforms, including SAP ABAP, SAP IDM, SAP HANA and SAP GRC, within large government agency environments
Additional technical skills:
* Sound technical knowledge of SAP Security platforms (SAP ABAP, SAP IDM, SAP HANA, SAP GRC)
* Experience with SAP role build methodology to ensure alignment with business and compliance requirements
* Knowledge and experience with SAP ABAP Profile Generator
* SAP HANA role build experience
* SAP GRC development, monitoring and role build experience
* SAP IDM development and monitoring experience
