Emergency Management and Resilience Project Officer
This role requires a dedicated professional to strengthen community preparedness and resilience in the face of emergencies and disasters.
The successful candidate will contribute to the development and delivery of Council's Emergency Management plans and procedures, ensuring effective implementation for community preparedness, resilience, and recovery.
A key responsibility will be to develop the Spontaneous Volunteers Coordination Plan, collaborating with community resilience and local emergency service stakeholders to create templates, documents, and processes to support the plan.
This position also involves working closely with the Emergency Management and Resilience Coordinator to develop and implement the Cessnock Community Disaster Resilience Strategy, as well as updating Emergency Management plans and procedures.
