Overview
You will be monitoring the pools to ensure safe and enjoyable waterplay and educating a range of age groups on water safety, supporting the provision of a safe environment for patrons, ensuring our Aquatic Facilities operates in a clean, hygienic and safe manner in accordance with health regulations and public safety requirements.
Our Leisure Centres operate seven (7) days a week with outdoor pools running throughout the Summer Season. This is a casual opportunity with the hourly rate beginning at $42.57 (LSO Band 3) plus superannuation.
Responsibilities
* Monitor pools to ensure safe and enjoyable waterplay.
* Educate a range of age groups on water safety.
* Support the provision of a safe environment for patrons.
* Ensure aquatic facilities operate in a clean, hygienic and safe manner in accordance with health regulations and public safety requirements.
* Contribute to a positive customer service experience in a public aquatic setting.
About You
* Energetic, passionate and fun. Works well within a team and has outstanding communication skills.
* Enjoys dealing with the public, takes initiative and maintains a professional approach.
* Possesses a current Level 2 First Aid (HLTAID003), a current Employee Working with Children Check and a current Pool Lifeguard accreditation.
