Agitator Driver
Join Holcim Australia as a FIFO Agitator Driver on a 2:1 roster excluding Perth. This role involves operating agitator trucks to deliver premixed concrete, maintaining safety and quality standards, and supporting maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate an agitator truck to deliver premixed concrete to designated locations.
* Conduct thorough inspections of the concrete mixer to ensure it meets safety and quality standards.
* Comply with all relevant safety, health, and environmental legislation to maintain a safe working environment.
* Adhere to company policies, procedures, and work instructions, including drivers' instructions.
* Assist with regular maintenance activities as directed by the production supervisor, including completing the Daily Operator Checklist and ensuring truck and mixer cleanliness.
* Conduct regular inspections of the concrete in the mixer to ensure it conforms to the nominated specifications.
* Monitor and maintain the slump of each load within tolerance limits.
Essential Qualifications
* Valid driver's licence with a clean driving record.
* Previous experience as an agitator driver or in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong commitment to safety and a thorough understanding of safety regulations.
* Excellent communication and customer service skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with strong attention to detail.
* Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and ability to perform routine checks.
* Physical fitness to handle the demands of the job, including the ability to lift heavy objects.
* Flexibility to work variable hours, including weekends and overtime as needed.
