As a Mine Technician, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the geotechnical team and contributing to the success of our mining operations.
Main Responsibilities
* Work closely with the Senior Mine Technician to install and maintain geotechnical slope monitoring equipment.
* Collect and process geotechnical and geological data for analysis and reporting purposes.
* Assist with the installation and servicing of downhole instrumentation to ensure accurate readings.
* Support the mine geologists with field sampling and data collection.
* Promote safe work practices, including hazard identification, control, and safety interactions reporting.
* Manage personal performance to meet task deadlines and optimize efficiency.
* Provide logistical support for MTS drilling projects, including field and asset management.
* Conduct regular area inspections to maintain safety and efficiency standards.
* Engage effectively with stakeholders, particularly geotechnical engineers and geologists.
