About the role
We are seeking a Kitchen Steward / Attendant to join our dynamic team at Binna Burra Mountain Lodge in Beechmont, Queensland. This is a casual position, offering the flexibility to work around your schedule. As a Kitchen Steward / Attendant, you will play a vital role in supporting our kitchen operations and ensuring the smooth running of our hospitality services.
What you'll be doing
* Thoroughly cleaning and maintaining kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to the highest standards of hygiene
* Assisting the kitchen team with food preparation tasks as required
* Stocking and replenishing kitchen supplies to ensure efficiency
* Disposing of waste and recycling materials in an environmentally responsible manner
* Adhering to all food safety and workplace health and safety regulations
* Providing exceptional customer service to guests and colleagues
What we're looking for
* Previous experience in a kitchen or hospitality environment, preferably as a Kitchen Steward or Attendant
* Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organisation
* Ability to work efficiently and effectively as part of a team
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Enthusiasm for the hospitality industry and a passion for providing exceptional customer service
* Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays, as required
