Overview
Clinical Nurse Consultant - Cancer Services - Griffith is a permanent full-time role with NSW Health, based at Griffith Base Hospital in Cancer Services. Remuneration: $126,720.88 - $129,314.15 per annum (+ super + 17.5% leave loading where applicable). Applications Close: 10 September 2025.
Responsibilities
* Leading practice development and policy implementation
* Providing clinical supervision and mentorship to nursing staff
* Delivering specialised nursing care and support to patients and families throughout their cancer journey
* Engaging in education and research activities to advance cancer care
About You
* Act as a role model and expert in cancer nursing
* Support patients in navigating investigations, treatments, and referrals
* Provide expert advice to patients, families, and healthcare professionals
* Contribute to multidisciplinary care planning and attend MDT meetings
* Coordinate patient and carer education
* Lead the development of evidence-based nursing practices
Qualifications & Experience
* Registered Nurse with current Authority to Practice (AHPRA)
* Minimum 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, including at least 3 years in cancer care
* Postgraduate qualification in oncology nursing (minimum Graduate Certificate/Diploma), or working towards a Master's degree
* Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and leadership in cancer care
