Your new role
Secure a permanent position within our well-established maintenance department at Middlemount Mine in the Bowen Basin. Working a 7/7 rotating roster duties include-
* Lead machine maintenance activities, including component replacement, component overhaul, general repairs, fault diagnostics, PM servicing, daily refueling and inspections
* Ability to work day and night shifts
* Execute planned repairs within time and cost requirements
* Be self-motivated and able to direct a team
* Be committed to procedure based preventative maintenance.
What you'll need to succeed
* Trade qualified with post-trade experience in the mining industry (Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic)
* Prior experience in Leading Hand position
* Current Coal Board Medical & Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain)
* Current Queensland driver licence
* Experience with heavy earth moving equipment.
