Base salary range: $95,231 – $100,643 p.a. (pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.
About The Area
Located in the Kalgoorlie office of the Rural Clinical School of WA (RCSWA), the Project Officer will be the administration and engagement contact covering the Esperance/Goldfields area in the Midwest/Goldfields Regional Training Hub as part of the Integrated Rural Training Pipeline (IRTP). The Project Officer works closely with stakeholders, academic staff working as part of the three Regional Training Hubs, other relevant academic staff and the Team Leader.
The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia is a unit within the Medical School of the Faculty of Health and Medical Sciences, which provides rural clinical training for WA medical students. The RCSWA spans a breadth of some 3,500 km across multiple sites in WA to provide a positive rural educational experience, increase the quantity and quality of the rural workforce and in turn improve health outcomes in rural and remote Australia.
About The Chance
- The Project Officer is based in Kalgoorlie and supports the Esperance/Goldfields area within the Midwest/Goldfields Regional Training Hub under the Integrated Rural Training Pipeline (IRTP).
- The role involves close collaboration with academic leads, staff across three Regional Training Hubs, and key stakeholders to support rural medical education and workforce development.
- Responsibilities include project planning, reporting, stakeholder engagement, and contributing to strategic initiatives aimed at improving rural health outcomes.
About You
- Completion of a degree with subsequent relevant experience.
- Considerable relevant administrative experience.
- Proficiency in a range of computing skills including word processing, spreadsheets, databases, internet and email.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to consult with a range of staff, including written and verbal.
- Demonstrated ability to analyse problems, work proactively and exercise initiative appropriately.
