Coastwide Readymix Concrete is local, family-owned and operated concrete supplier, servicing the Central Coast community for over 30 years.
We have an opportunity for an experienced and reliable bookkeeper/accounts administrator and office all-rounder to join the team at our busy office in West Gosford.
The role is 100% office based as business requirements do not currently support a remote or hybrid working arrangement for this position.
Standard office hours are Monday to Friday between 8:00am - 4:00pm, with some flexibility to adjust these times to suit.
The ideal candidate would be available to work between 30 - 38 hours per week and conversion to permanent employment after a successful settling in period is an option for the right candidate.
The role
This key role is primarily responsible for end-to-end administration and providing support to our accounts receivable/payable and HR team. A typical day includes;
* Answer phones and respond to customer enquiries.
* Support accounts receivable/accounts payable and payroll
* Process invoices, statements, manage collections and general account enquiries.

* You are resilient and a confident committed all-rounder who is happy to answer phones, process customer orders and perform ad hoc administrative duties as required.
* Professional phone manner and excellent customer service skills to support the sales team receive inbound calls, process sales orders and resolve or escalate queries as required.
* You are skilled at multi-tasking and prioritising competing demands. You can confidently leverage your experience and critical thinking skills to pivot where necessary and overcome challenges to stay on top of your workload.
* You're not afraid of a bit of old school administration and are confident maintaining spreadsheets and formulas, managing paper-based records and efficiently and accurately processing manual, high-volume data entry.
* You love to roll up your sleeves and wear multiple hats to tackle and complete various tasks and projects.
* Able to work effectively and productively both independently and as part of a small, dedicated team with minimal supervision.
Essential requirements
* Adaptable, resilient, positive and solutions focused.
* Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
* Minimum 3yrs experience in Accounts Payable/Receivable and Payroll
* Current unrestricted drivers license
* Willing to undergo pre-employment medical
Desirable
* Experience in HR/Payroll
* Experience with Reckon Hosted

Pay rate based on experience.
