Key Responsibilities
Develop, design, and implement electrical and control system solutions for brownfield and greenfield projects.
Apply technical expertise to optimise control philosophies, automation strategies, and system performance.
Produce high‑quality detailed design deliverables, including specifications, functional descriptions, schematics, and calculations.
Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and clients to deliver fit‑for‑purpose engineering outcomes.
Ensure all designs meet relevant industry standards, site requirements, and safety obligations.
Support project planning and management, including scheduling, budgeting, and reporting.
Engage with clients and stakeholders to understand operational needs and deliver tailored engineering solutions.
Skills & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
Proven experience as a Control Systems Engineer, ideally within the mining, minerals processing, or heavy industrial sectors.
Strong capability across PLC/SCADA/automation platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider, Citect).
Experience with electrical control systems design and integration across project phases.
Consultancy or EPCM experience highly regarded.
RPEQ (Electrical) is desirable; support offered for engineers pursuing registration.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to work independently and within a team.
