A newly merged health service with more than 22,000 employees caring for a community of over 1.2 million Victorians.
The new health service will provide people with the best possible care with services that support them throughout their lives.
The merger will also strengthen our workforce, providing new training, education and career opportunities.
Subject to final approval on 1 January 2026, all employees from the five health services will transfer to Bayside Health.

What You Will Be Doing The Grade 3 Allied Health Assistant (AHA) will competently provide Physiotherapy (PT) and Occupational Therapy (OT) assessment and intervention for patients at The Mornington Centre (TMC).
This role requires a multidisciplinary, person-centred approach to provide efficient and safe patient care as prescribed by Physiotherapists and Occupational Therapists.
Therapy is provided as individual patient sessions or in a group format.
This position includes student supervision responsibilities and supports the administrative and non-clinical functions of the OT and PT teams at TMC such as equipment ordering, maintenance and cleaning and other duties as directed.

• Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.
• Minimum 12 months experience working in an inpatient health care setting.
• Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to use a wide range of software applications, including hospital databases and Microsoft Office programs.
• The ability to take an organised and methodical approach to the prioritisation of tasks.
