**LEARNING SUPPORT INTEGRATION TEACHER (PREP - 10)**
**About Charlotte Mason College (CMC)**
CMC is a private, co-educational, independent school that is accredited by the Office of Non-State Schooling Queensland, and is affiliated with the association Independent Schools Queensland (ISQ) and Christian Schools Australia. The school is funded by the State and Federal Government plus parent fees. CMC offers both classroom and distance education programs from Preparatory to Year 10.
This role is a full-time position that will include working with students in Prep - Yr 10 via Distance Education and On Campus Learning. We are looking for a flexible and enthusiastic teacher who has experience working with students of all abilities, especially neuro diverse students.
**The position includes**:
- Onboarding of new students
- Working with the Learning Support and Enrolments Team
- Working across Distance Education and On Campus,
- Working with students and families to create a bridge between on-boarding and the classroom, where adjusted curriculum and differentiation support will be required
- The collection, management and interpretation of NCCD data and other school data as required
- Interpreting data and developing both individual class and school wide initiatives
- Working collaboratively in a team environment with Colleagues, Students and Parents/Carers
- Writing adjusted education programs for students with varying needs
**Requirements**:
Proactive and well organised
Flexibility, ability to work in a team, and also to be self-motivated
Excellent communication skills
Possessing an in-depth knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
Experience with education in P-10 years, and with working with children who have a variety of abilities and learning needs
Familiarity with Charlotte Mason principles and philosophy, or willingness to acquire that knowledge
Availability to work full time on campus at Kallangur
**Essential Criteria**:
- a current teacher registration with the Queensland College of Teachers
- experience with Learning Support and curriculum adjustment
- experience with NCCD data would be advantageous
- the desire to teach in an environment where both the Christian faith and academic excellence are emphasised
- the ability to work with students from prep to yr 10
- to write and deliver curriculum from a biblical worldview, in a highly engaging way, using best practice pedagogy
- the outlook of a team player
- proven ability to drive academic achievement whilst supporting a diversity of learners
- the ability to integrate digital technologies into teaching
**Desirable Criteria**:
- experience using a Learning Management System (LMS)
- experience within a distance education setting
