The cardamom Indian restaurant in Safety Bay, WA is a family-friendly dining restaurant specialising in Indian cuisine.
We urgently need a full-time cook with a relevant trade qualification and at least 3 years' experience to join our team and commence work as soon as possible.
Job Expectations
Preferably an Australian citizen or permanent resident
Possesses an Australian Trade Certificate in Commercial Cookery
Has worked for at least 3 years as a cook/chef in restaurants offering a wide range of Indian cuisine
Has a high standard of food presentation and takes pride in culinary skills
Has supervisory/management skills to manage kitchen staff
Has a passion for producing quality food to meet customer demand
Experience in controlling food costs and portions
Available to work on most days, including weekends
Able to communicate with suppliers to place orders for food supplies
Maintains a tidy, clean, hygienic kitchen and ensures food safety requirements are met
Has a happy personality that is maintained under pressure
Is a team player and has a long-term intention to work with us
