Job Description
We are seeking a Senior HSE Advisor to join our team. As a key member of our HSE team, you will provide tactical support, incident management and continuous improvement to project teams.
You will work 12-hour days on a 2-weeks on / 2-weeks off roster on an offshore oil and gas platform. You will be responsible for maintaining and reporting on monthly safety performance statistics, identifying trends and recommending corrective actions.
You will facilitate incident management, audits and shift handovers between rotating shift HSE Advisors. You will also ensure effective shift handover and support to staff leave on a rotating shift.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide technical advice on HSE systems, processes, standards, legislative requirements and risk management principles to all levels of personnel.
* Use the One HSE Culture Program to build HSE capability in Site / Project Teams and embed continuous improvement principles to optimize HSE outcomes.
About You
* Diploma in Work Health and Safety (WHS).
* Current Provide First Aid Certificate and Construction White Card.
* Formal qualifications in Incident Investigation techniques (Taproot / ICAM).
* 3-5 years' experience in offshore oil and gas projects.
* Exposure to heavy industrial environments and processes with demolition or decommissioning experience highly regarded.
