**Not a Superman - Just a Seasoned onsite Project Co-Ordinator!**
An interesting and flexible role for someone with solid industrial electrical background who can manage trades and meet on time, on budget commitments.
Starting from home means managing each work day around Brisbane based projects. Although a visit to head office one day a week is needed for updates and debriefs.
This work is diverse and interesting, our clients provides turn key solutions for multiple discipline projects. This involves electrical switch rooms, PLC boards, machine operating systems, motor control centres and distribution switchboards for major infrastructure, commercial and industrial customers.
Due to the interesting project diversity our client has an excellent track record of staff retention, people enjoy the work.
**Some of the Challenges**:
- Must have worked in Australia, have a knowledge of Australian standards, along with all aspects of electrical functionality.
- Fault finding, making relevant electrical calculations.
- Assist with engineering and design team at beginning of new projects
- Review and understand working drawings.
- Locate errors and suggest remedies.
- Liaise with workshop manufacturing manager.
- Liaise with site supervisors to ensure a smooth running project.
- Utilising project management system to monitor and communicate progress against plan (Microsoft Project - SimPRO)
- Developing and reviewing rolling forecasts
**On the Job responsibilities**:
- Oversee projects, making sure they are carried out safely.
- Ensuring all environmental goals are met and guidelines adhered to.
- Maintaining quality control over projects and works carried out.
- Ensure documentation is accurate and of a high standard
- Inspect completed switchboards panels and site installations to ensure the conformity to specifications
- Co-ordinate with subcontractors, internal design, workshop and site supervisors preparing milestones, ensuring variations are chargeable to support accurate and timely invoicing
- Liaising with Financial Controller to assist reliable forecast of cashflow
- Identify business development and ad-on sales opportunities
- Attend scheduled and non-scheduled site meetings, representing our clients best interests
- Maintain external relationships with suppliers, customers and the industry in general.
**Is this your background?**
- Must be a qualified electrician.
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering highly regarded.
- Cert 3 in Electrical fitting or engineering highly regarded.
- Strong proven background in industrial electrical installation, leading a team on site.
- Experience with running projects and responsible for on time and on budget highly regarded.
